Two canals
The Albert Canal and the Dessel–Schoten Canal meet here, two broad, straight lines of water that cut across the town and structure the whole composition.

Schoten Map Poster & Print
Schoten lies just northeast of Antwerp, where the city's suburbs meet the woods and heath of the Kempen. Its map is defined by water: the Albert Canal passes along the southern edge, and the Dessel–Schoten Canal runs through the municipality to join it. Between these straight lines, residential streets fill the land in a close, irregular pattern typical of Flemish towns.
Green space is a strong feature too. The park around Schoten Castle, with its ponds and old trees, and the wooded Vordenstein park form large open areas on the map, and further woodland lies toward the north. The result is a town that feels part city and part forest, with commuter streets giving way to quiet lanes under the trees.
A Schoten map poster is a natural choice for people who live here, grew up here or commute into Antwerp every day. The straight canal lines, the rounded forms of the parks and the fine grain of the streets create a map with clear contrasts, one that holds up well both in a small frame and at large sizes.

Castle park
The grounds of Schoten Castle form a large green space with ponds, paths and trees, a soft organic shape set among the surrounding residential streets.
Vordenstein
This historic wooded park adds another large open area, its paths drawing fine curves that contrast with the straight lines of the canals nearby.
