Silang sits in the uplands of Cavite, on the gradual rise from Manila Bay towards the Tagaytay ridge. The land slopes upward to the south, and the map reflects that change: roads run mostly north to south, following the gentle gradient, while small rivers and ravines cut across the town in narrow, wooded channels.
The old town centre is built around a Spanish-era church dedicated to Our Lady of Candelaria, with a small grid of streets surrounding it. From there, the Aguinaldo Highway and other main roads lead out towards Imus, Dasmariñas and Tagaytay, and residential subdivisions have spread along them in large, often gated blocks.
