Surkhakhi Map Poster & Print
Surkhakhi is a large village in the Republic of Ingushetia, in the North Caucasus, not far from the city of Nazran. It lies in the foothill zone, where the flat land of the north gives way to rising ground and, further south, the ranges of the Greater Caucasus.
On the map, the village is laid out in long streets of houses with gardens and courtyards, typical of settlements in the region. Roads connect it with Nazran and neighbouring villages, and farmland and patches of woodland stretch around the edges. Streams run down from the higher ground toward the plain.
A Surkhakhi map poster records this setting in simple lines: a spacious village layout, the roads to nearby towns and the terrain beginning to climb toward the mountains. It is a modest subject, and a meaningful one for anyone whose family roots are here.
