Vadakku Valliyūr Map Poster & Print
Vadakku Valliyūr is in the far south of Tamil Nadu, in the countryside of Tirunelveli district, not far from the southern tip of the Indian peninsula. The name means northern Valliyur, after the town it sits beside. From above you see a settlement shaped by the roads through it. Houses crowd close to the main routes and spread out into lanes behind them.
The surrounding land is mostly open plain, with farmland and scrub. The Western Ghats rise some distance to the west. In this part of the state, towns tend to have a dense older core around temple streets and markets, with newer houses spreading out along the roads. The map shows that same growth from centre to edge.
A Vadakku Valliyūr map poster shows the town at a scale where individual lanes can be picked out. It works for families from the area and for people who have moved away and want a clear record of home. In black and white, the pattern of roads and lanes is sharp and easy to read.
