Hill-following lanes
Roads bend around low hills instead of cutting across them. The result is a soft, branching network typical of Kerala's suburban edges.

Vattiyūrkāvu Map Poster & Print
Vattiyūrkāvu lies on the northern side of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala's capital, and forms part of the city's growing residential belt. The map does not show a planned grid. Instead there is a web of curving lanes that follow the rise and fall of low laterite hills, with houses set among thick greenery.
Like much of southern Kerala, the area is built at low density. Gardens, groves and paddy land sit between neighbourhoods, and small ponds and temple tanks appear as neat shapes among the streets. The main roads run toward the city centre and link the suburb to the rest of the capital.
A Vattiyūrkāvu map poster captures that looseness. The lanes form a fine, looping network, and green space shows up as quiet gaps between clusters of streets. It is an intimate map of a place people know through daily routes rather than landmarks.

Tanks and ponds
Small water bodies sit between houses and temples. Their compact rectangular or rounded shapes stand out clearly against the fine street lines.
Link to the capital
Main roads run south toward central Thiruvananthapuram, connecting the suburb to the rest of the city and giving the map a clear sense of direction.
