Villenave-d'Ornon Map Poster & Print
Villenave-d'Ornon lies immediately south of Bordeaux, on the left bank of the Garonne. From above, it is a patchwork of residential neighbourhoods, small commercial areas and green spaces, with a street network that grew outward from older village centres rather than from a single grid. The river marks the eastern edge, and its wide, curving channel gives the map a strong boundary.
The Bordeaux ring road, the Rocade, crosses the commune, and its interchanges appear as bold loops among the finer suburban streets. A small stream, the Eau Blanche, runs through the area toward the Garonne, and its valley remains partly open, forming a green line across the map.
Villenave-d'Ornon is part of the Pessac-Léognan wine appellation, and several estates still hold land here despite the growth of the metropolis. A Villenave-d'Ornon map poster captures that meeting of city and wine country, suburban streets, vineyard parcels and a river on the doorstep of Bordeaux.
