Vostryakovo Map Poster & Print
Vostryakovo lies south of Moscow, within the Domodedovo area of Moscow Oblast, close to the railway corridor that runs south from the capital. Its layout mixes two scales on the map. Blocks of multi-storey apartment buildings stand around courtyards. A smaller, finer pattern of private houses and garden plots spreads outward among the trees.
This combination is typical of the settlements around Moscow. Over the twentieth century they grew from villages and dacha communities into commuter districts. Patches of forest, small streams and ponds survive between the built areas. Their soft, irregular shapes balance the straight lines of the roads and the railway.
A Vostryakovo map poster is a personal object more than a tourist souvenir. It speaks to people who grew up in these courtyards, spent summers at a family dacha nearby, or still travel the same route into Moscow each day. Its mix of dense and open textures makes an unexpectedly balanced composition.

Apartment courtyards
Groups of multi-storey residential blocks form enclosed courtyards. This geometric, rhythmic texture stands out clearly in black and white on the finished print.
Garden plots and woodland
Around the denser core, private houses, dacha plots and remaining forest create a finer, more irregular pattern that softens the edges of the composition.
