River confluence
The Xapuri and Acre rivers join beside the town, and their curving channels form the strongest natural lines on the map.

Xapuri Map Poster & Print
Xapuri lies in the state of Acre in the far west of Brazil, where the Xapuri and Acre rivers meet. From above, the town is a compact grid pressed against the water, its riverbanks tracing the sweeping curves typical of Amazonian lowland rivers. Beyond the streets, the map opens into large areas of forest and cleared land.
The town is known worldwide as the home of Chico Mendes, the rubber tapper and union leader who campaigned to protect the Amazon rainforest and was killed in Xapuri in 1988. The nearby Chico Mendes Extractive Reserve, created after his death, preserves forest used by rubber-tapping communities, and his house in town has become a place of remembrance.
The rivers remain central to the town's shape and life, rising and falling with the seasons. A Xapuri map poster frames that relationship clearly: a small street grid on the water, meandering channels and the forest beyond. It is a quiet portrait of a place whose history reaches far beyond its size.

Riverside grid
A compact, regular street grid fills the land along the water. It is the densest part of the composition and the historic centre of the town.
Meandering banks
Loops and bends typical of Amazonian rivers give the edges of the map a flowing, irregular shape set against the straight streets.

Näme üçin Xapuri
Many bar bolan karta
Xapuri speaks to people who care about the Amazon and the legacy of Chico Mendes, and to anyone from Acre. The map is modest and precise, a way to keep a meaningful place in view without turning it into a slogan.
Set your own title and subtitle, perhaps with a date or a short phrase, and keep the coordinates line. Sand and Paper suit the forest setting and Blueprint emphasises the rivers. Classic black & white and Noir complete the choice, digital or printed.
