Yinqiao Zhen Map Poster & Print
Yinqiao is a town in Dali, in western Yunnan, on the narrow plain between the Cang Mountains and Erhai Lake, north of Dali's old town. It is part of a region long associated with the Bai people, whose villages line the plain along the lake.
From above, the geography is unmistakable. The mountains rise steeply to the west, streams run down their slopes toward the lake, and the plain between is filled with villages, fields and roads that run roughly parallel to the shore, crossed by lanes heading down to the water.
A Yinqiao Zhen map poster captures this long, layered landscape. The mountains, plain and lake form three clear bands, and the streams and roads connecting them give the print a strong sense of direction and place.
