Fine-grained lanes
The street network is made of very short segments and small blocks. On paper this becomes a dense, even texture, quite unlike the broad planned districts elsewhere in Lagos.

Ajegunle sits on the mainland side of Lagos, west of the Apapa port district. From above, its street pattern is one of the tightest in the metropolis. Short lanes branch off a few longer roads, plots are small, and there is very little open ground between them. Water is never far away, because creeks and channels of the lagoon system run along the edges of the neighbourhood.
The area is often called Jungle City, and its name is known far beyond its small footprint. Ajegunle is widely recognised as a starting point for Nigerian musicians and footballers. Street football and local sound systems shaped careers there that later reached national and international audiences, and that reputation is why the neighbourhood's name carries weight across Lagos and beyond.
An Ajegunle map poster turns this intricate fabric into a field of fine black lines. Because the blocks are so small, the drawing looks almost like woven cloth, while the heavier port roads and the waterways give it structure. It is a portrait of a neighbourhood defined by density, drawn without colour so that the streets themselves carry the design.
The street network is made of very short segments and small blocks. On paper this becomes a dense, even texture, quite unlike the broad planned districts elsewhere in Lagos.
Channels of the Lagos lagoon system run along the fringes of the area and add soft, irregular water shapes against the tight mesh of streets.
Roads leading toward the Apapa port area pass close by. Their wider carriageways show up as bolder lines that anchor the composition and set the neighbourhood in its larger context.

For people who grew up in Ajegunle or have family there, the map is a compact record of home: the lanes walked to school, the pitch, the market. Add a title such as the neighbourhood's nickname, a subtitle with a family name or a date, and a coordinates line that fixes the exact spot.
There are five styles to choose from: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The digital HD set costs $9 and includes six print sizes, each as a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF.
