From above, Chơn Thành reads first as a junction. National Highway 13 runs roughly north to south through the town, carrying traffic between Ho Chi Minh City and the uplands along the Cambodian border, and National Highway 14 branches off here toward the Central Highlands. Most of the built-up area gathers along these corridors. Denser blocks sit near the crossing, and the streets grow sparser the further you move from the main roads.
Beyond the centre the map changes character. Broad, regular parcels take over, and many of them are plantations and farmland, which is typical of the former Bình Phước province, long associated with rubber. Newer industrial zones add large rectangular footprints and straight service roads. That mix of old roadside settlement, planned estates and open land gives a Chơn Thành map poster an unusual balance of dense line work and quiet space.
Chơn Thành was part of Bình Phước until the provincial reorganisation of 2025 placed it within Đồng Nai. Its recent growth, from district town to urban centre, shows in the street pattern: fresh grids and wide roads sit alongside older lanes that follow the logic of the highway. Planned industrial zones appear as large blocks with long, straight internal roads. Their geometry is more regular than the older settlement and gives the map a clear modern layer.
Towards the edges of the town the street network thins out into wide parcels of cultivated land, a reminder of the rubber plantations that have long defined this part of southern Vietnam.
