Ciudad Madero is at the southern tip of Tamaulipas, where the Pánuco River reaches the Gulf of Mexico. On a map the city fills a wedge of land between the river to the north and the open coastline to the east, and it merges with Tampico to the west. You can hardly tell where one ends and the other begins.
The street pattern is mostly a regular grid of residential blocks. Larger industrial areas lie near the river, where the city's oil refinery has long shaped both the economy and the layout. The city is named after Francisco I. Madero, the president whose revolt began the Mexican Revolution, and its identity has grown around petroleum work since the early twentieth century.
The eastern edge is defined by Playa Miramar, a long straight beach that runs north toward the river mouth and the jetties that guard it. A Ciudad Madero map poster turns this simple geography into a clear composition: a grid of streets, a hard coastal line, and the curve of the river closing off the top of the frame.

The river meets the sea at the city's northern edge, where long jetties extend into the Gulf. On a poster they appear as thin parallel lines.
To the west the grid continues without a break into Tampico. The poster reads as one metropolitan area rather than a separate town.

The map works for families with roots in the refinery neighbourhoods, for people who spent weekends on Miramar, and for anyone who knows the Tampico area as home. It captures the region's shape without needing a photograph.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name or a date. Then choose one of five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
