Biscayne Bay edge
The eastern border is not a crisp coastline but a soft, broken fringe of mangrove and wetland. On a black-and-white map it shows as a gradual fade from street pattern to open water.

Cutler Bay sits at the southern end of Miami-Dade County, where the suburban fabric of South Florida starts to thin out toward open water. On a map it reads as a patchwork of curving residential streets, dead-end courts and small lakes. Major highways run along its western side, and the green fringe of mangroves along Biscayne Bay forms its eastern edge.
As a municipality the town is young. It was incorporated in 2005, though its neighborhoods are older. The area was among the places hit hardest by Hurricane Andrew in 1992, and much of what appears on the map today was rebuilt in the years after. Older street patterns sit beside newer infill, which gives the drawing a quietly uneven texture.
A Cutler Bay map poster keeps only the lines: road centerlines, canal banks and the ragged shoreline where land dissolves into shallow bay. With no color or labels, the main subject becomes the contrast between dense housing blocks and the empty eastern margin. It is a clear picture of how close suburban Miami lives to the water.

Long, ruler-straight canals cross the town, part of South Florida's water-management network. They cut cleanly through the curving residential streets and give the composition its strongest straight lines.
Most of the town is built as looping streets and short courts around small retention lakes. Once every building is removed, the pattern reads almost like a fingerprint.

For people who grew up here, or moved in during the long rebuilding, the map is a record of a home between the highway and the bay. It works well in a hallway or home office, where the fine suburban texture rewards a closer look.
You can set your own title and subtitle, add a date that matters, such as the day you moved in, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the $9 HD files or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
