Da Nang is shaped by water on two sides. The Han River runs north through the city to the bay and splits it into a western half, where the older centre is, and an eastern strip along the sea. Several bridges cross the river at short intervals, including the Dragon Bridge. On a map they show as a row of lines stitching the two halves together.
East of the river, a long, straight beach runs south from the base of the Son Tra peninsula toward Hoi An. The coast is so even that it reads like a ruled line along the page. At the northern end, Son Tra rises as a wooded headland with only a few roads, and it bends around to shelter the harbour. Farther south, the Marble Mountains stand as a small cluster of limestone hills.
Da Nang was a port long before it became a beach city. It sits beside the Hai Van Pass, the mountain road that has long marked a divide between northern and southern Vietnam. The airport occupies a large, clean rectangle close to the centre. A Da Nang map poster captures all of this: river, bridges, runway, coast and the dark shape of the peninsula.

From the foot of Son Tra, the beachfront runs south in an almost unbroken line. A single coast road with dense blocks behind it follows the sea.
The forested headland north-east of the city has very few streets. It shows as a broad, quiet mass that frames the bay and balances the dense grid across the water.

Aiheā Da Nang
Da Nang is where many people spent a long holiday or started a new job, and where some met the person they married. Its layout is easy to recognise even without a label. The river, the beach and the headland give the map a clear, graphic shape.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for instance with a wedding date or the dates of a trip. Choose from five styles, from Classic black & white to Sand. You can order it printed on matte paper with an optional wooden frame, or download the files and print locally.
