Faridabad lies directly south of Delhi in Haryana and forms part of the National Capital Region. Its shape is dictated by a single corridor: the old Delhi–Mathura road, now a national highway, runs north to south through the city, with a railway line alongside it. The urban area stretches along this spine for many kilometres, creating a long, narrow footprint on the map.
Most of the city is organised into numbered sectors, each a rectangular grid of streets with its own markets and parks. These blocks tile the land on either side of the highway, broken here and there by industrial estates and older villages whose irregular lanes survive within the planned layout. The Delhi Metro now extends south through the city along the same corridor.
To the west, the rocky Aravalli hills rise in a band of scrub and quarries, with the Surajkund area and its annual crafts fair close to the Delhi border. To the east, the land slopes down toward the Yamuna and its floodplain. A Faridabad map poster shows that framework clearly: hills on one side, river on the other, and an ordered city in between.
The Delhi–Mathura road and parallel railway run straight through the city from north to south, forming the central axis around which every sector is arranged.
Rectangular grids of residential and commercial streets, each laid out as a self-contained unit, give most of the map a regular, modular texture.
Low, rugged hills on the western side, home to Surajkund, where the dense grid stops and the landscape opens into scrub, quarries and winding tracks.

Aiheā Faridabad
Faridabad is where many families have settled after moving to the capital region, and a map of the sector they live in can mark a home, a new job or a first flat. The regular grid makes a clean, orderly print.
Write your sector or street in the title, add a date in the subtitle, and set the coordinates to your front door. Choose one of five styles, including Blueprint for a technical look, and print it yourself from the 300 DPI files.
