Fort Erie sits at the southeastern corner of the Niagara Peninsula in Ontario, where Lake Erie drains into the Niagara River. From above, the town traces the Canadian shoreline of the river, facing the city of Buffalo on the American side. Streets run inland from the water in a regular pattern, while the lakeshore to the west turns into long beaches and cottage roads.
The town is named after Old Fort Erie, a stone fort that saw a major siege during the War of 1812 and is now a historic site near the head of the river. The Peace Bridge, opened in 1927, links Fort Erie to Buffalo and carries one of the busiest crossings on the border between Canada and the United States.
A Fort Erie map poster shows how much of the town's identity comes from water. The river edge, the lakeshore, the bridge and the grid of residential streets behind them form a clear, balanced composition. It works for people who live here, for those who cross the border often and for anyone with ties to the Niagara region.
The bridge spans the Niagara River between Fort Erie and Buffalo, a thin line of crossing that ties the two countries together at the centre of the map.
The river forms the town's eastern edge, a broad band of water shared with the United States that runs north toward the falls.
To the west, the town follows the north shore of Lake Erie, where the map shows beaches, small points and quiet roads close to the water.

Fort Erie is a place defined by crossings, and its map makes a natural gift for families split across the border, cottagers who return every summer and anyone who has waited in line on the Peace Bridge. The river and lake give the poster an instantly recognisable outline.
Add a family name, the year you bought a cottage or the coordinates of your street, then pick one of five styles. Printed posters on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame, are made by print partners in more than 30 countries.
