Gia Lâm lies on the far side of the Red River from central Hanoi, on flat alluvial land shaped by water. On the map, the wide, braided river forms the western edge, dykes follow its banks, and the Đuống River branches off to the north. Between them, compact village cores sit among open fields, joined by roads that fan out eastward from the river crossings.
The district is known for Bát Tràng, the ceramics village whose kilns have supplied glazed pottery to the region for centuries. On paper it shows up as a dense knot of lanes beside the river, very different from the new residential grids growing nearer the city. Moving across the district, the pattern changes from old settlement to planned development within a few kilometres.
A Gia Lâm map poster captures that transition. The river gives the print a broad, soft shape on one side, and fields appear as open white space that makes each village cluster stand out. Anyone who knows the district will recognise the dykes, the bridges back toward the old quarter and the gradual spread of streets across the delta.
The district's western boundary follows the wide Red River, whose sandbars and curving channel form the most striking shape on the map.
The pottery village appears as a tightly packed cluster of lanes near the river, a compact pattern that reflects centuries of craft settlement.
Long embankments follow the waterways, and the fields between them leave generous blank space, so the delta settlements read clearly.

For families from the villages east of the Red River, or anyone who has crossed a bridge to buy ceramics in Bát Tràng, this map keeps a very local landscape on the wall. The title and subtitle can be changed to a village name, a family name or a meaningful date.
Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand works especially well with the delta's river shapes. You can download a free 900 px preview first, then buy HD files in six print sizes for $9 or order a printed poster, with an optional wooden frame.
