Te mape
Hyattsville lies just northeast of Washington, D.C., in Prince George's County, Maryland. Its map shows a classic inner-suburb pattern: a grid of residential streets laid out in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, set against the long diagonal of U.S. Route 1, which runs through the city as its main commercial corridor.
Water shapes the western and southern edges. The Northwest and Northeast Branches of the Anacostia River pass close by, lined with parkland and trails, and their meandering green bands break up the otherwise regular blocks. The city was named after Christopher Clark Hyatt, who bought land here in the 1840s, and much of its older housing sits within a designated historic district.
A Hyattsville map poster captures a place that feels residential and walkable while sitting directly beside the capital. Metro rail, arterial roads and stream valleys all cross the sheet, but the dominant texture remains those quiet grid streets where porches and old trees define everyday life.
Baltimore Avenue cuts diagonally through Hyattsville, giving the map a strong line of shops, apartments and older commercial buildings between the residential grids.
The Northwest and Northeast Branches of the Anacostia and their stream-valley parks form winding green corridors that interrupt the city's street pattern with soft, irregular curves.
Older neighbourhoods keep their compact early-suburban grid, with small blocks and narrow lots that make a fine, even texture across the heart of the poster.

Aiheā Hyattsville
Hyattsville draws people who want to live close to Washington without living in the middle of it, and a map of their street, their first home or their neighbourhood marks that choice well. The grid and the stream valleys make a balanced, calm composition.
You can edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files for six print sizes cost $9, or order a matte printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
