Te mape
Jinotepe sits on the Meseta de los Pueblos, the upland plateau south of Managua, and serves as capital of the Carazo department. Its map follows the Spanish colonial pattern closely: a grid of square blocks extending from a central plaza, where the large Parroquia de Santiago faces a park. Streets are regular and evenly spaced, giving the centre a calm, ordered look from above.
The plateau's cooler, higher climate made the surrounding land suitable for coffee, and farms lie beyond the edges of town. On the map, the grid gradually loosens as it reaches the outskirts, with roads bending to follow the terrain and connecting Jinotepe with neighbouring towns such as nearby Diriamba.
This combination of colonial order and surrounding coffee farmland gives the town a clear, legible outline. A Jinotepe map poster presents that structure simply, with its plaza, straight streets and rural edges, a picture of a regional capital on the plateau that has kept its traditional shape over generations while growing steadily outward.
The park and parish church occupy the heart of the grid, the point from which the town's straight streets extend evenly in every direction.
Evenly sized square blocks cover much of the centre, a regular pattern that makes the map immediately readable and gives it a calm, balanced composition.
At the outskirts, roads curve to follow the uneven terrain of the plateau and lead out toward farmland and the neighbouring towns of Carazo.

Aiheā Jinotepe
Carazo families living in Managua or abroad often keep strong ties to Jinotepe, and a map of its central grid is an easy way to keep that connection close. The regular layout also suits a modern, minimal interior.
