Krishnāpuram lies in Alappuzha district in southern Kerala, close to Kayamkulam and a short distance inland from the Arabian Sea. Like much of coastal Kerala, it is less a compact town than a continuous spread of houses, lanes and gardens. On a map, the settlement fills the land evenly between roads and waterways.
The best-known landmark is Krishnapuram Palace, built in the eighteenth century in the traditional Kerala style under Marthanda Varma of Travancore. It houses the Gajendra Moksham mural, among the largest single mural paintings in the state. On the map, the palace grounds show as a clear open patch within the surrounding lanes.
A Krishnāpuram map poster shows how settlement, water and vegetation interlock in this part of Kerala. The coastal highway runs north to south, smaller roads branch off it, and Kayamkulam lake lies not far to the west. The image is detailed and textured, which makes it well suited to larger print sizes.

The national highway along the Kerala coast passes through the area. It is a strong north–south line from which smaller roads spread east and west.
Kayamkulam lake and its channels lie to the west and bring the edge of Kerala's backwater system into wider framings of the map.

Kerala's coastal settlements make detailed, almost textile-like maps, and Krishnāpuram is a good example. It suits families from Alappuzha district, visitors to the palace, and anyone who wants a map with a lot of fine structure.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be edited, for instance to mark a wedding date or a family home. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as a digital download or a printed poster.
