Lo Prado sits on the western side of Santiago, one of the many communes that together make up the Chilean capital. From above it reads as a dense, even weave of short residential streets. Blocks are small and closely packed, with few open gaps, so the drawing looks almost like fine fabric stretched between the larger avenues that mark its edges.
