Te mape
Paulista occupies a stretch of the Pernambuco coast just north of Olinda, within the Recife metropolitan area. On a map it has two distinct halves: a shoreline of beach neighbourhoods facing the Atlantic, and an inland core that grew around a textile industry in the twentieth century. Between them, small rivers and mangrove edges wind toward the sea.
The town's modern shape owes much to a large textile company that built factories and worker housing here, and traces of that planned mill town still show in the orderly streets of the centre. Along the coast, beaches such as Janga and Pau Amarelo line the shore; Pau Amarelo is where Dutch forces landed in 1630, and a small bastioned fort was later built there.
A Paulista map poster shows how these layers fit together: the straight coastal roads, the curve of the beaches, the looser pattern of the centre and the water channels threading between them. In black and white the Atlantic becomes a calm, solid edge, and the city reads as a quiet coastal plan rather than a crowded suburb.
A continuous strip of streets follows the shoreline, with beaches such as Janga and Pau Amarelo forming the eastern edge of the map against open water.
At the northern beaches, a small bastioned fort stands near the spot where Dutch forces came ashore in 1630, a compact geometric footprint beside the water.
Inland, the centre retains the orderly streets laid out around former textile works, a quieter pattern set apart from the busier coastal roads.

Aiheā Paulista
Paulista is often a place of weekends and summers, of family houses near the beach or childhoods spent in the old centre. Hanging its map brings back the walk to the sea and the route home, drawn with the precision of real streets.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, then pick one of five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. A free 900 px watermarked preview lets you check the layout before buying the $9 HD files or a framed print.
