Port Huron sits at the southern tip of Lake Huron, exactly where the lake funnels into the St. Clair River. That geography defines the map: open water to the north, a narrow river channel to the east with Sarnia, Ontario, on the far bank, and the city's grid stretching inland from the shore. The Black River winds through the middle of town before joining the St. Clair downtown.
Two Blue Water Bridges span the river at the head of the St. Clair, linking Interstate 94 and Interstate 69 to Canada and making Port Huron one of the busiest crossings on the northern border. Nearby stands Fort Gratiot Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in Michigan. Thomas Edison spent part of his boyhood here, and each July the Port Huron to Mackinac sailing race starts from the river.
A Port Huron map poster brings together water in three forms: the broad lake, the fast, straight river and the looping Black River through the centre. The downtown blocks sit where the Black River meets the St. Clair, and the residential grid spreads west and north along the shore. Framed wider, the Canadian side and the bridge approaches add a second shore.
The twin bridges cross the St. Clair River at the lake's outlet, a sharp line drawn over water connecting Port Huron with Sarnia and the Canadian highway network.
This smaller river curls through the city from the west, crossed by several bridges, before entering the St. Clair beside the downtown blocks.
The northern edge of the map is open water, with the lakeshore running past Fort Gratiot Lighthouse and residential streets, giving the composition a clean upper boundary.

Aiheā Port Huron
Port Huron maps suit anyone tied to the Blue Water Area: sailors who have started the Mackinac race here, families on both sides of the border, or people who crossed the bridge every day for work. The water makes the city instantly recognisable.
Personalise the title and subtitle, add a race year or an anniversary, and keep the coordinates line. Blueprint suits the lake and rivers especially well. Order a matte printed poster with an optional wooden frame, or download six print-ready sizes for $9.
