Bamban is a municipality in the southern part of Tarlac province in Central Luzon, next to the border with Pampanga. The Bamban River runs past the town and gives the map its most distinctive feature: a broad, pale channel much wider than the water that usually flows in it.
That width comes from Mount Pinatubo. After the 1991 eruption, lahars of volcanic ash and sand flowed down the river and buried land along its banks. Dikes and wide sandy beds still mark its course. West of the town, the plain rises into the foothills of the Zambales mountains, while fields and roads spread across the lowland to the east.
A Bamban map poster records a town shaped by one of the largest volcanic eruptions of the twentieth century. It is also a straightforward provincial town, with a compact centre, main roads and rice fields. In black and white, the pale river bed stands out strongly against the streets.
The river's wide channel of volcanic sand runs beside the town. It is the broadest feature on the map and a lasting trace of the Pinatubo lahars.
The land rises west of town towards the Zambales mountains. The street network thins out as the terrain climbs.
Main roads cross the flat farmland of Central Luzon and link Bamban to Tarlac to the north and Pampanga to the south.

Families from Bamban, and people who remember how the town recovered after 1991, hang this map as a record of home and resilience. It is clear and understated and fits any room.
Edit the title and subtitle, add a date if you wish, and change the coordinates line. Choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand echoes the river's volcanic bed.
