Bange is a town in the Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture, on the western side of the Aizu Basin. The basin floor is flat and carefully farmed, mostly with rice, while forested mountains rise on its edges. From above, the town is a compact grid of streets set among neat rectangular paddies.
The town is served by the JR Tadami Line, whose Aizu-Bange station sits near the centre. On the map, the rail line runs through the settlement as a single steady curve, with the town's streets arranged around it and roads spreading out across the fields to nearby villages.
A Bange map poster captures a distinctive landscape. The regular field pattern around the town gives the paper a fine, even texture, the built-up area stands out as a denser block, and at the edges the land starts to rise into the hills that enclose the Aizu Basin.
Rectangular rice fields surround the town, their boundaries drawn as a fine regular pattern that fills much of the poster.
The JR Tadami Line passes through town and stops at Aizu-Bange station, a smooth rail curve running through the middle of the map.
To the west, the flat farmland gives way to wooded, rising ground, where the map's lines begin to follow valleys and slopes.

Bange suits people with ties to Aizu, whether through family, work or a stay in rural Fukushima. The combination of a small town grid and regular rice fields makes an unusually graphic print.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, even using Japanese script for a family name, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
