Birnin Gaouré is the seat of the Boboye department in Niger's Dosso Region, southeast of Niamey. The main national road runs through it, and on a map that highway is the spine. Compounds and lanes branch off it in an irregular, low-density pattern typical of Sahelian towns.
The town lies by the Dallol Bosso, a wide fossil valley that runs south toward the Niger River. The valley holds water close to the surface, which supports gardens and trees in an otherwise dry landscape. From above, this shows as a softer, greener band beside the settlement.
A Birnin Gaouré map poster is spare and open. Much of the sheet is taken up by the space around the town, crossed by tracks and field boundaries, and the highway and valley give it a clear, readable structure.
The main highway crosses the frame in a long line, and most of the town's streets hang off it. It is the clearest thread on the map.
The broad valley floor lies next to the town, marked by gardens and tracks rather than a flowing river. It adds a gentle band of texture to the design.
Residential areas form loose blocks of compounds divided by sandy lanes. In black and white they read as a fine, irregular mesh that thins out toward the edges.

For people from Boboye, and for those living abroad with family ties to the Dosso Region, this map is a quiet record of home. Its open, minimal layout fits a modern room without feeling empty.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line yourself, adding a family name or a date. The poster is available in Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
