Carrizal is a town in the municipality of Ingenio, on the east side of Gran Canaria. It lies on the flatter land that runs down from the island's interior toward the Atlantic coast. From above, the town is a fairly regular pattern of residential blocks, with longer roads connecting it to neighbouring towns along the east of the island.
This stretch of Gran Canaria is the island's busy eastern corridor, where towns, farmland and industrial zones sit close together near the main coastal motorway and the airport at Gando. Carrizal belongs to that landscape. Its streets are practical and closely built, and the coast is only a short distance away.
