Cheonan lies in the northern part of South Chungcheong Province, roughly where the Seoul metropolitan belt gives way to the farmland and low hills of central Korea. On a map the city looks like a set of dense residential clusters between green ridges. The older centre sits near the main railway station, and newer districts spread east and west along the arterial roads.
Transport shapes the whole layout. The Gyeongbu Expressway and the Gyeongbu rail line both cut through the city on their way from Seoul to Busan. The high-speed Cheonan-Asan station, at the western border with Asan, brought the city within commuting range of the capital. These long, straight corridors give the map a clear structure, and the street network bends around them.
A Cheonan map poster shows a modern Korean city in its usual form: large superblocks of apartment towers separated by wide roads, small streams running through parks, and wooded hills where building stops. To the east, the Independence Hall of Korea occupies a large landscaped site below the mountains. Across the country, the city is also known for its walnut cakes, hodu-gwaja.
The Gyeongbu Expressway and the main railway run north to south through the city. They draw two long, confident lines that organise everything around them on the map.
Apartment complexes set in large rectangular blocks create a repeating, almost textile pattern of building footprints. Schools, parks and the occasional older low-rise street break the rhythm.
Low forested hills rise around the edges and between districts. They leave irregular blank shapes where the dense street network stops and the landscape takes over.

Cheonan is where many people studied, started a first job or raised children in a new apartment complex. A poster of its streets turns that ordinary, lived-in geography into something worth framing. You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates to name a building, a year or a family.
The repeating blocks look crisp in Classic black & white and softer and warmer in Sand or Paper. Noir and Blueprint suit the highway lines well. The $9 digital version includes six print sizes, each as a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF, with no watermark.
