Ko e mape
Coruripe is a municipality on the southern coast of Alagoas, in northeastern Brazil. From above, the map combines three landscapes: the Atlantic shoreline with its long beaches and coastal villages, the river that gives the town its name, and the extensive sugarcane fields that cover much of the land inland.
The town centre follows a modest grid, with streets running toward the river and the coast, while smaller settlements line the shore. Sugarcane has long been the backbone of the local economy, and the large, regular shapes of the plantations show clearly around the urban area. The coast, with its reefs and coconut palms, draws visitors from the region.
A Coruripe map poster places the curve of the coastline at the edge of the frame, with the town, the river and the fields inland. It is a composition with a natural balance between land and sea.
The municipality's shoreline runs along the Atlantic, its long beaches and coastal villages forming a clean curved edge on the map.
The river that shares the town's name crosses the landscape toward the sea, adding a winding natural line between the town and the coast.
Large plantations of sugarcane surround the town inland, their broad, regular shapes filling much of the map beyond the streets.

Ko e hā ʻa Coruripe
Coastal places make especially good posters, because the shoreline gives the map a strong outline. Coruripe suits people who grew up in Alagoas or who remember time spent on its beaches.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised, and the map comes in Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Choose the $9 HD files or a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
