Dinaig lies in the Maguindanao area of Mindanao, close to Cotabato City and facing the waters of the Moro Gulf. The terrain is mostly low and flat near the coast, crossed by rivers and creeks draining toward the sea, with higher ground further inland.
The built-up areas are spread across several settlements rather than one dense centre. Roads follow the coast and connect with the Cotabato City area, with smaller streets branching off into residential zones. Between them, fields, coconut groves and waterways fill the map, giving the place a loose, open texture.
A Dinaig map poster shows how the settlement relates to water: the coastline on one side, river channels crossing the lowlands, and roads following the drier ground in between. It is a quiet, understated map of a place that rarely appears on posters at all.
The municipality faces the sea, and its coastline forms a long natural edge along one side of the map.
Rivers and creeks wind across the flat land toward the gulf, adding soft curving lines between settlements.
The main road links the local communities with Cotabato City and forms the backbone of the street network.
