Esquías is a municipality in the northern part of the Comayagua Department of Honduras, in hilly highland country. Most of its population lives in villages and hamlets spread across the hills, and the municipal seat is the local centre. On a map this reads as a small cluster of streets surrounded by long, winding roads.
