Five Corners is an unincorporated community in Clark County, Washington, in the suburbs north of Vancouver. It takes its name from the intersection at its centre where several roads meet at angles, forming five points. On the map, that crossroads is the natural focus, with arterial roads radiating from it through the surrounding neighbourhoods.
Around the main roads, residential streets form a mix of short grids, winding lanes and cul-de-sacs, the typical pattern of Pacific Northwest suburbs built over several decades. Parks and school grounds appear as open spaces between the houses. To the south, Vancouver extends toward the Columbia River and Portland across it.
A Five Corners map poster turns a suburban intersection into a clean graphic centrepiece. In black and white, the radiating roads and the curving residential streets create a surprisingly balanced composition. It is a thoughtful piece for a first home or a family house in this part of Clark County.
Several roads meet at angles at the heart of the community, the intersection that gave Five Corners its name and the focal point of the map.
Around the arterials, residential streets form short grids, curving lanes and cul-de-sacs, giving the map a varied, layered texture.
Green open spaces between neighbourhoods appear as calm areas on the page, breaking up the pattern of streets and houses.
