Grand-Gosier is a commune in the Sud-Est department of Haiti, on the southern coast, in the direction of the border with the Dominican Republic. On a map, the town is small and closely tied to the shoreline. Its streets gather near the coast, and a road runs along the shore connecting it to neighbouring settlements.
Behind the coast the land rises into hills, and paths and tracks lead inland to scattered rural homes. That gives the map two clear zones. The first is a denser cluster by the sea. The second is a looser pattern of lines climbing into the interior.
A Grand-Gosier map poster is built on this contrast between coast and hills. The coastline, with the Caribbean Sea beyond it, forms a strong horizon. The small street pattern sits right against it. The map stays simple and honest to the place.
The southern coast runs across the map as a long, irregular line, with the open sea filling one side of the composition.
A road follows the shore and links the town to other communes, giving the map its main horizontal axis.
Paths and minor roads climb from the coast into the hills behind the town and branch off into faint lines across the rural interior.

Ko e hā ʻa Grand Gosier
For members of the Haitian diaspora, a map of the home town is a quiet reminder of family and the coast they come from. Grand-Gosier's clear shape between sea and hills makes a calm, balanced print.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with names, dates or words of your own. The map comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
