Jaruco is in Mayabeque province, inland and east of Havana, in some of the few hills that interrupt the flat farmland of western Cuba. Its centre follows the Spanish colonial pattern of a regular street grid around a main square. On the map, that grid meets the terrain, and some streets bend or stop where the ground rises.
The town was founded in the eighteenth century and gave its name to a Spanish colonial noble title. Nearby, the limestone ridges of the Escaleras de Jaruco form a protected natural area with forests, caves and viewpoints. The area is a familiar weekend destination for people from the capital.
A Jaruco map poster shows the colonial grid adjusted to its hills. A dense, rectangular centre gives way to curving roads, with open land beyond. It is a small, legible composition that suits anyone who knows the town or the countryside around it.
The centre follows a regular grid of blocks around a central square, a pattern shared by many Cuban towns and immediately recognisable from above.
At the edges of the town, straight streets meet rising ground and start to curve or end. The shape of the hills can be read without any shading.
Roads leave town toward the Escaleras de Jaruco and the surrounding farmland, drawing longer lines across the quieter outer part of the map.

For Cubans from Mayabeque and for families abroad with roots in Jaruco, this map is a simple way to keep a home town close. Its compact grid and hilly outskirts make a calm, balanced image.
You can personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family surname or a year, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose one of five styles; Paper and Sand suit the colonial feel. Get the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
