Kampung Manjoi is a suburb on the northwestern side of Ipoh, the capital of Perak. It sits in the Kinta Valley, a wide lowland known for its limestone hills and its history of tin mining. On a map, its streets appear as a close mix of older village lanes and newer housing estates, linked by a few main roads to the city centre.
The street pattern changes from one part of the suburb to the next. Some roads wind like old kampung paths, while estates built later use regular rows and small loops. Around the built-up area, green space, streams and the outlines of former mining land break up the network.
Manjoi has long had a largely Malay population and remains one of Ipoh's established residential neighbourhoods. A Kampung Manjoi map poster shows this mix of village paths and planned estates in a simple black-and-white drawing.
Winding older lanes lie next to planned housing rows, giving the map two distinct textures side by side.
A few main roads connect the suburb with central Ipoh. They appear as the strong lines that hold the network together.
The suburb lies in a lowland shaped by limestone hills and old mining land, which leaves open spaces around the streets.
