Maple Heights lies southeast of downtown Cleveland in Cuyahoga County. It is one of the city's inner-ring suburbs. From above, it is almost entirely residential: long, parallel streets lined with compact houses, broken up by a few main roads, school grounds and small parks. It merges with neighbouring suburbs on nearly every side.
