Pandi is a town in Bulacan on the southern edge of the Central Luzon plain, a short distance north of Metro Manila. For generations the land was mostly rice fields and fish ponds divided by irrigation channels. On a map that older pattern is still visible, with rectangular paddies and narrow country roads between barangays.
The town has a significant place in Philippine history. In 1896 it was the site of Real de Kakarong de Sili, a Katipunan fortress where a major battle of the Philippine Revolution was fought. A shrine now marks the site, and it is an important local landmark.
A Pandi map poster shows a town in transition. Large new housing subdivisions have been built on former farmland, with tightly packed rows of houses and gated street grids. Rural roads, streams and fields still surround them. The contrast between the dense housing blocks and the open land makes the map clear and graphic.
The site of the 1896 Real de Kakarong de Sili fortress and battle is marked by a shrine, a key historic point in the town.
Large housing developments form tight, regular grids of short streets and rows of houses, spread across former paddy fields.
Remaining fields and irrigation channels create a rectangular mosaic around the barangays, crossed by small streams and country roads.

Ko e hā ʻa Pandi
Many families have recently made a home in Pandi’s new subdivisions, while others have roots that go back generations. A map of the town is a fitting way to mark either, from a first house to an old family place.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a move-in date, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper gives the fields and streets a warm look.
