Ponnāni lies on the Malabar coast of Kerala, where the Bharathapuzha, the state's second-longest river, reaches the Arabian Sea. The map shows a long straight coastline, the wide estuary and a town spread along a narrow strip of land between river, backwaters and sea. Coconut groves and small lanes fill the spaces between.
Ponnāni has been a port for centuries and is known as a historic centre of Islamic learning in Kerala, sometimes called the Mecca of Kerala. Its Valiya Juma Masjid is one of the region's best-known mosques. Fishing boats and the harbour remain part of the town's daily life.
A Ponnāni map poster shows this meeting of river and sea. The long coastline, the open estuary and the fine network of lanes create a composition that is both natural and detailed. It suits anyone connected to the Malabar coast.
The river widens as it approaches the sea, creating a broad open mouth that forms the most striking shape on the map.
A long, nearly straight coastline runs along the western side of the town, giving the poster a clean edge and a large area of water.
Narrow roads and lanes run parallel to the shore through the town, with fishing settlements close to the beach.

Ponnāni is a thoughtful choice for families from the Malabar coast or anyone who knows the Bharathapuzha. The meeting of river and sea gives the map a strong, recognisable shape.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose between five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint highlights the water particularly well.
