Rāmganj Mandi is in Kota district in the Hadoti region of southeastern Rajasthan. As the word mandi suggests, it is a market town. It is one of India's major trading centres for coriander, and harvests from across the region pass through its wholesale yards. The town has grown around this trade and the railway that serves it.
