Reengus is a town in Sikar district in Rajasthan, on the dry plains north-west of Jaipur. The railway is central to its character. The station is a junction, and the tracks cut across the map as long straight lines, with the town packed densely on either side.
The older part of Reengus is a tight weave of narrow streets and market lanes, while the newer areas spread out along the main roads. Around it, the land is flat and open, divided into fields, so the settlement shows up clearly against its surroundings.
