Sainte-Thérèse sits on the north shore of Montreal in the Laurentides region, part of the ring of towns known as the Basses-Laurentides. From above, its older centre forms a tight knot of short streets and small blocks around the parish church, with newer residential areas unfolding around it in curving crescents and cul-de-sacs typical of Quebec suburbs.
The commuter rail line to Saint-Jérôme runs through town, and the station gives the centre a clear anchor on the map. Nearby is Collège Lionel-Groulx, a CEGEP whose theatre programme has trained many Quebec actors. Major highways pass just outside the municipal limits, so on a poster the town appears as a dense, walkable core wrapped in the wider road network of the region.
A Sainte-Thérèse map poster captures that contrast between the old village grid and the quieter streets beyond it. The railway draws a firm line across the sheet, and the main commercial street reads as a clear axis through the centre. It is a modest, well-proportioned map, the kind that rewards a closer look rather than an instant impression.
The commuter line toward Montreal cuts diagonally through the map, with the station close to the centre. It gives the composition a strong, straight stroke among the smaller streets.
Around the church the blocks become small and irregular, a denser pattern that stands out clearly against the more open residential streets further out.
Collège Lionel-Groulx occupies a recognisable footprint near the centre, with larger buildings and open grounds that break up the surrounding grid.

Sainte-Thérèse is home for many families who commute into Montreal, and a map of it often marks a first house, school years at the CEGEP or a childhood spent on the north shore. It is the kind of local map that looks understated on a wall and means a lot to the person who hung it.
