Sarwar is in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan, on the open plain south-east of Ajmer. On a map, the town is compact and inward-looking. A tight network of old lanes forms the centre, and newer streets and roads spread out to the edges. The surrounding land is dry and flat, divided into fields and crossed by a few main roads.
The town is best known for the dargah of Khwaja Fakhruddin, a son of the Sufi saint Moinuddin Chishti, whose shrine is in Ajmer. The dargah draws pilgrims throughout the year, especially during its annual urs. The streets leading towards it are among the busiest parts of town.
A Sarwar map poster shows a place shaped by pilgrimage and daily life together. There is a close, irregular old core, the open space around the shrine complex and roads leading out across the plain to Ajmer, Kekri and neighbouring villages. It is a quiet, detailed composition for anyone who knows the town or has made the journey there.
The shrine of Khwaja Fakhruddin is the town's best-known landmark. Its complex and the lanes leading to it form the heart of the map.
Narrow, winding lanes and closely built houses make up the centre, creating a dense pattern that contrasts with the open land around it.
Main roads leave Sarwar in straight lines towards Ajmer and nearby towns, framing the composition against flat, open fields.

Pilgrims who have visited the dargah, and families with roots in Sarwar, often want to keep a record of the place. A map poster does this quietly, without showing any single building.
Add a name, the date of a visit or words in any script to the title, subtitle and coordinates line. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download for $9 or order a printed poster.
