Contour-following roads
Streets here rarely run straight for long. They bend around hillsides and drop into small valleys, producing a loose, organic pattern that reads clearly in black and white.

Tirhanimîne lies in the Al Hoceima area of northern Morocco, in the Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, where the Rif mountains come down almost to the Mediterranean. On the map it appears as a mesh of streets fitted to uneven ground, closely tied to the neighbouring city and its bay. Roads bend with the contours instead of following a strict grid, and built-up areas thin out toward the hills.
The wider setting is what gives the sheet its character. To one side rises steep, folded terrain; to the other, the coastline of the Al Hoceima bay curves along the sea. Between them, the settlement fills the available slopes and valleys, so the street pattern records the landscape as much as any planning decision. It is a place best understood from above.
Because Tirhanimîne is a smaller, lesser-known place, the poster lets the geography speak: winding roads, dense residential blocks and the edge of the Mediterranean. A Tirhanimîne map poster works well framed slightly wider, so the bay and the surrounding hills sit around the streets and show how closely town, mountain and sea are pressed together here.
Streets here rarely run straight for long. They bend around hillsides and drop into small valleys, producing a loose, organic pattern that reads clearly in black and white.
The Mediterranean bay of Al Hoceima lies close by, and a slightly wider frame brings its curved shoreline into the composition as a strong, clean edge.
The central Rif surrounds the area with steep, broken terrain, which is why built-up land gathers in pockets and along ridges rather than spreading evenly.
