Visé lies in the province of Liège in Wallonia, on the Meuse, a short distance from the Dutch border. From above, the town is defined by water. The broad river runs north through the valley, and the Albert Canal runs close beside it. Together they form two strong parallel lines on the map.
The old centre stands on the river bank, where short streets gather around the collegiate church. Newer neighbourhoods spread across the valley floor and up the slopes. The town is known for its guilds, which date back several centuries, and for goose cooked in the local style, a dish closely associated with Visé.
A Visé map poster shows the town between its waterways: bridges crossing the valley, a compact historic core and residential streets climbing the hills. It is a clear, well-balanced composition with water at its centre.
The Meuse and the Albert Canal run almost parallel through the valley, forming two long water lines that dominate the whole map.
The historic centre stands close to the river, with a dense cluster of short streets around the collegiate church and the market area.
Bridges cross the river and canal and link both sides of the valley, drawing short, strong lines across the water.

Ko e hā ʻa Visé
Visé makes a strong map because water gives it such clear structure. For locals and those who have moved away, the poster keeps the river town and its bridges within reach.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a family name, a wedding date or a street address. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the waterways well.
