Willowbrook is an unincorporated community in south Los Angeles County, between Watts and Compton. Its map is classic Los Angeles basin: flat ground and a tight grid of residential blocks filled with single-family houses, framed by wide arterial boulevards. Major transport lines cut across the grid. The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital campus is also in the area, one of the few large sites in a landscape made mostly of houses.
