Yilan is a county in the east of Harbin's administrative area in Heilongjiang, located where the Mudan River joins the Songhua. That confluence defines the map. The Songhua spreads broadly across the landscape with channels, islands and floodplain, the Mudan comes in from the south, and the town sits on the land between them.
Yilan is one of the old settlements of the Northeast. It was an important centre under the Qing, and local tradition places the Wuguocheng site here, the ancient town where the Song emperors Huizong and Qinzong are said to have been held captive by the Jin. Around the town, flat farmland and rivers stretch in all directions.
A Yilan map poster shows a city shaped by its rivers. The wide Songhua fills much of the sheet with its channels and sandbanks, the Mudan adds a second line of water, and the streets form a compact grid at the meeting point. It is a strong, clear composition in which water carries as much weight as the town itself.
The Mudan joins the Songhua beside the town. The meeting of the two rivers forms the dominant shape on the map and explains the site of the settlement.
The Songhua widens into branching channels, islands and floodplain as it passes Yilan. On paper this creates a complex, flowing pattern across part of the sheet.
Yilan's streets form a compact, largely regular grid between the rivers. It stands out as a dense block against the water and farmland around it.

For people from Yilan, the rivers are part of everyday life, and for those interested in the history of the Northeast, the town has an old story. A map print brings both together in a clear design that suits a study or a living room.
The title, subtitle and coordinates are fully editable, so you can use Chinese characters or add a family name. Choose from five styles. The $9 download includes six print sizes as 300 DPI PNGs and print-ready PDFs, with no watermark.
