Hillside street pattern
Streets bend and step with the uneven ground, so the grid is never quite regular and the town's outline stays organic rather than rectangular.

Alto Lucero Map Poster & Print
Alto Lucero, officially Alto Lucero de Gutiérrez Barrios, is a town and municipality in the state of Veracruz. The name hints at its setting: the town sits on raised, uneven ground, and its streets follow the land rather than a strict grid. From above, you see a central square, a few main roads, and blocks that bend and narrow where the terrain changes.
The municipality stretches from the hills toward the Gulf of Mexico, so the wider area mixes farmland, ridges and coastal ground. The town takes part of its full name from Fernando Gutiérrez Barrios, a Veracruz-born politician and former governor of the state. On the map, the town reads as a compact settlement tied to the region by a small number of winding roads.
An Alto Lucero map poster catches that mix of order and irregularity. The centre is a clear, fairly dense pattern, and it loosens at the edges into streets that curve with the slopes. In monochrome the variation in the linework hints at the hills without showing them directly, which gives the print depth even at a small scale.

Central plaza
A central square anchors the plan, with the main streets leading out from it, giving the poster a clear focal point in the middle.
Winding approach roads
The roads linking Alto Lucero to the rest of Veracruz curve through hilly country, making long, loose lines that carry the eye out to the edges.
