Source of the Lippe
The springs of the Lippe rise in the town centre near the castle ruin, and the river's first stretch leaves town as a thin line heading west.

Bad Lippspringe Map Poster & Print
Bad Lippspringe lies just northeast of Paderborn in eastern North Rhine-Westphalia. The Lippe, which later flows west across the Ruhr region to join the Rhine, rises in the middle of town, and the springs give the place its name. On a map, the water appears as a small pool and stream right beside the old centre, the start of a river that crosses a whole state.
The town has long been a spa resort, and its parks take up a large share of the map. The Kurpark and the grounds laid out for the 2017 state garden show make broad green shapes next to the compact centre. The remains of a medieval castle stand near the source. To the east, the wooded ridges of the Teutoburg Forest and the open heath of the Senne mark the edge of the built area.
A Bad Lippspringe map poster works as a portrait of a small town given over to walking and water. The streets are short and gently curved, the parks are generous, and the river's first metres run through the centre. It appeals to people who came for a cure, stayed for a job in Paderborn, or grew up among the spa gardens.

Spa parkland
The Kurpark and the former garden show grounds form large, softly outlined green areas that take up much of the eastern side of the map.
Forest and heath edge
The Teutoburg Forest ridges and the Senne heath press close to town, so the street pattern ends early against open, unbuilt land.

Neden Bad Lippspringe
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
Many people know Bad Lippspringe from a stay at one of its clinics, from a walk through the parks or from years living near Paderborn. A map with the river source at its centre gives those memories a precise place.
Add your own title, a subtitle such as a year or a name, and a coordinates line. Classic black & white keeps the parks crisp, Paper and Sand soften them, and Noir or Blueprint turn the river and streets into bright lines on a dark ground.
