Bad Waldsee Map Poster & Print
Bad Waldsee lies in Upper Swabia, in the south of Baden-Württemberg, and its setting is immediately visible on a map. The historic old town occupies a strip of land between two lakes, the Stadtsee and the Schlosssee, with water on either side of its main streets.
The compact medieval centre, with its gabled houses and church, forms a dense knot of streets, while the Schloss stands by the smaller lake. Around the lakes, newer districts spread out across the rolling countryside. Bad Waldsee is also known as a spa town, and as the home of Hymer, the motorhome manufacturer.
A Bad Waldsee map poster shows a rare arrangement: an old town held between two bodies of water, with the lakes giving the composition strong, rounded shapes. The surrounding streets and fields frame this central feature, making the poster instantly recognisable to anyone who knows the town.
