Benfica Map Poster & Print
Benfica is an area on the southern side of Luanda, Angola's capital. It sits along the route that leads south from the central city toward the coast and the Mussulo peninsula. In recent decades it has grown quickly, and its map shows a mixture of new planned developments, informal neighbourhoods and major roads crossing ground that was open land not long ago.
The area is well known locally for its craft market, where carvings, textiles and paintings from across Angola are sold. The nearby coast and the sheltered Mussulo bay draw people from the city for weekends by the water, and they give this part of Luanda a direct connection to the Atlantic.
A Benfica map poster captures a district in the middle of change. It shows dense residential patches, long straight roads leading out of the city, and open ground where the next phase of building is still to come, with the coastline and bay framing one edge. It is a clear record of a moment in the growth of one of Africa's fastest-expanding capitals.

Mussulo bay
The sheltered bay and the long sand spit of Mussulo lie close by. They add a calm stretch of water and a thin coastal line to the composition.
Growing neighbourhoods
New developments and older informal areas sit side by side, and their different street patterns show clearly how the district has expanded.

Neden Benfica
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
For Angolans in Luanda and in the diaspora, Benfica is a familiar name on the road to the beach and to the craft market. A map of it records a neighbourhood as it is today, while it keeps changing.
Add a personal title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose among Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand gives the coastal setting a warm, sunlit tone.
